Hi,
Bit of a curly one, say we want to install an oldie but a
goldie, for instance perphas we have an old carry over from the
Linux *nix world that has older library requirements. "Normally"
where Linux variants are concerned you can run into all sorts of
hell. Trying to install "old" programs, perhaps long ago support ,
updates and the software project stopped and was dropped
[snip]
Again, it's hard to tell what your question really is. Are you
trying to compile software that relies on an old version of the
library that's not present on Darwin?
Can you ask a specific question, and leave out references to other
systems (that only seems to confuse things)?
Regards,
Justin
