My 7600 strikes back

About a month and a half ago I tried, for the last time, to install and boot Darwin on my 7600.

As some of you might remember, my 7600 is "super-special":
It has an "ACard" UDMA/33 controller, an 80 gig HD, and an 8500's 200mhz 604e Daughtercard.

Well I just added another piece of hardware into it which seems to be getting me a little further in the installation process. I got a new SCSI hard drive (got it back from the guy I sold it to), and with it a whole new set of problems.

the 7600 seems to like to lock up after "Panicking" while trying to boot from the Darwin 1.4.1 CD I burned for it a while ago (complete with UnsupportedUtilityX and all that jazz).

Basically, it starts to boot darwin (from the CD), and says "panic, we're hanging here.." and then of course freezes.

I have a feeling it has something to do with the daughter card not being expected (or something).

If you think it'd help, I'll give you the exact "debugger information dump" it gives me right before the "we're hanging here" line; though it looks incoherent.

thanks,
-Bob
