Hey now. Does this entirely preclude Darwin (meaning Darwin, not Mac
OS X) from running console-based java tools like xerces/xalan? I've
been meaning to swap Darwin for Linux on the server in my closet, and
no java would monkey up my plans.

If so, is there a workaround? Can java be cannibalized from OS X if I
don't have a need for AWT?
