starting sendmail as service on boot

I am using osx, I could not find a osx list, so I post here, if there is
a better place, let me know

I have very little *nix experience, comming from a macintosh background
so please help,

I host a few small sites with mac os 9 and webstar.

I would like to use osx and apache/sendmail to replace webstar.

I compiled and installed apache 1.3.19 and php 4.0.5 and set up my
server.

I can not figuer out how to get sendmail to work tho,
how do I make it run on startup?
where are the config files?
whare can I get info relavent to mac osx and sendmail?
