Hello,

- I have downloaded and installed XFree86 4.02
- I have downloaded XAqua

When I start XFree there's only the grey background and the X cursor.
Ok, I have moved on:

Then I downloaded the new rootless mode XDarwin but noticed that I have
to install the render.patch for it to function properly. What file do I
need to patch with this patch (I couldn't find any installation
instruction)?

And, generally speaking, how do I start a window manager under Darwin?
Do I need an .xinitrc in my home directory? /User/my_user_name/.xinitrc
or how does Darwin handle this?

Thanks for info. I notice that my Linux knowledge does not help me much
with this.
