Re: Darmin on x86

Startup is controlled by scripts in /System/Library/StartupItems. The network startup is handled by the Network script in the Network directory.

For pure Darwin, the networking configuration is given in /etc/hostconfig and /etc/iftab. What do you want to do?

hi,

I want to install Darwin 1.3.1 on Intel platform but on the boot I have this message :

bootp : h/w addr xxxxxxxx
bootp : sending request......

and he stop here

I think he search a DHCP serveur, but I don't want to use DHCP server.

How can I bypass the instruction ?
