Apple Reorganizes Open Source Web Presence

A couple announcements:

Apple unifies its open source web presence

In order to provide the best service for developers, Apple has consolidated the Apple PublicSource site into the Apple Developer Connection website. The Apple Open Source website, formerly http://www.opensource.apple.com/, is now located at http://developer.apple.com/darwin/ where developers can find all the latest Darwin news, documentation, and tools. This will provide a single point of entry to Open Source resources, and continue to be the reference CVS repository for all Apple's open source projects, including Darwin.

Announcing OpenDarwin.org - a community web server

To enable open source developers to evolve Darwin more rapidly, the Internet Software Consortium will host OpenDarwin.org. This will be operated by the open source developer community, and contain all services needed to maintain projects including a bug tracking system and a CVS source code repository. OpenDarwin.org will make it easier for developers to participate in the open source development process, enable a wider range of projects such as application ports to Darwin / Mac OS X, and give developers greater freedom to experiment with Darwin projects.
