I've a dual 1.25ghz G4 that is having issues staying up for more than a
week or two (and sometimes even a day or two). Each time I discover
this, the symptoms are the same -- pressing a key won't wake up the
display, I can't ssh into it, and it doesn't respond to pings, leaving
the only recourse the dreaded hard-boot (which I really abhore doing).
Looking in /var/log/system.log doesn't show me much:

realized it had again lapsed into a coma from which there was no
awakening). Is there somewhere else I can look to give me a clue and
help me determine the cause of these lockups? I don't think it's a
power issue -- i've a 450mhz Cube right next to it that is still up.
