Looking forward, though, something like an inductive loop that would let
a Mac read a proximity card might be a nice solution--though one that'd
probably a nightmare to certify. A HID reader, for example is *way* too
easy to sniff.
Don't hold your breath, at least in the gov't space. FIPS 201 is
clear--the proximity interface will *not* access private key material.
