FOCUS_LOST is always permanent on mac

In my application a component, subclass of a Canvas, needs to know whether
it lost the focus temporary.
In mrj 2.2.4 the focus_lost event is always permanent even if it's an
indirect result of a window deactivation. If a window is reactivated, MRJ
behaves correctly and restores the original focus state. Is it a bug? Any
known workaround?
