I believe as Nick Kledzik indicated this is when you register the handler. The VM having queued up the events for you until you do this. Not sure if they hang onto them forever though.
I attempted at one point to omit Apple's and try my own handling of odoc events. I never saw the 'launch' ones . I assume this is because the VM has gotten to them first before my application has a chance to get it's installed. I even tried sharing, letting Apple's handle the 'launch' events and then disabling that and letting mine get the rest. Basically just attempting to prove mine could serve the function. Didn't work either, not exactly remembering why, I couldn't get the Apple handler disabled maybe? Anyhow, had no real problems with the Apple mechanism so just let them get them all. Have to find uses for mine where I don't re-invent the wheel.
