How can disable JMenu in screen menu bar.

Hello.

I have two problems with JMenu if I use screen menu bar.

1. I can't disable menu:JMenu.setEnabled(false) doesn't work.
2. Moreover all menus are accessible even if modal dialog is shown.

Is that known bugs? Does workaround exist?
