Java source

I am just getting going with Java on OS X, and I realized that suddenly I
have no access to the JDK source code anymore... at least not that I can
find. So I'm downloading the SDK 1.3.0 for Linux, figuring I can unpack this
and grab the source directory out of it. Does anyone have another
suggestion? I am assuming that all the source code for the JFC stuff is
identical on all platforms, right...?

On that note: a very ignorant question: Just what is the SDK? I mean the
classes are all identical to the standard JRE, right? Otherwise your stuff
wouldn't run on the end user's system. So is it simply a redistribution of
the JRE plus the binary tools (javac, javadoc, etc.)? If so why don't they
just distribute the binary tools as a standalone package? Just curious.

Jason
