We haven't encountered any such limitation on X (which is what you
apparently are using).

More likely is there is a difference in how you are invoking things on X and
Windows. For example people make a common mistake when using PB for Java
applications. Or, viewed another way, PB doesn't automatically "do the right
thing" when you add a jar file.

When you add a jar file, PB does what's needed to successfully compile the
application. This might lead you to believe all is well. However, unless you
manually edit MRJApp.properties your application will fail to run. You need
to add any extra jar files to the classpath entry in that file. Or arrange
by some other means for your .app to find the jar file at runtime.

If the above isn't the problem, please post some more info on your project.
It should work on X just fine.
