PB/Java Java Application menu oddness

I've just noticed something weird in all the Java apps I've built with PB
1.0.1 on DP1 (don't recall seeing this in PB 1.0 on the 1.3.0 Java).

When the app is run, the application menu (the eponymous menu) has a bogus
menu item shown just below the About... item. The bogus item is always "(-".
Something trying to be a menu separator??? If I use MRJAppBuilder to build
the .app package outside of PB this bogus menu item does not appear (then
again, neither does the About... item show up in the menu).

This seems so bizarre but I can't find anything wrong in the projects. Maybe
a secret code, al la beta 9 seeds, indicating this is DP1? Hints appreciated
