hwaccel sample?

does anyone know where the sample code for the session 508 (java graphics
/wwdc) is?

the apple dev promissed us to put the code somewhere to show the hardware
acceleration to our colleagues?
is their a discription about the hardware acceleration, why does at work
just on macs, is it working just for graphics, etc.?
