Sorry Mike, I'm working on "conundrum concurrency" ;-)

No, I didn't... since I'm trying to port code (Java and C) that was running
under Windoze, and the findSystemClass call in question wasn't actually
necessary for the code to run, I just commented it out. The return value
wasn't being used except to make sure the class was available (as a sanity
check to make sure the jar file was intact).

So, I'm developing a long string of conundrums, that I'm either trying to
workaround or fix or just push away for now so I can make SOME forward
progress... it's kinda frustrating...
