Re: java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError



I missed the start of this thread so I'm not sure what the problem is. The
following may be way off base...

We have posted examples using InstantDB on 9 and X. A couple of months ago,
David Bainbridge reported he was having trouble moving from the old version
of InstantDB bundled in the examples to the currently available version.

However, within a day he reported he was able to work with the then latest
Enhydra InstantDB release. The only problems he encountered that I recall
were:
1) the import for the driver changed because it now lives under
org.enhydra...
2) it wants the transaction API jar and that needs to be added to the
project and classpath

(The above refers to Mac OS X. If you're trying it on 9 I haven't heard
anything specific).

I've been too busy to update the examples to a modern InstantDB. I suppose I
could if there's a good reason to.
