Followup to Java apps Hanging on Jaguar

For anyone who is interested, Perfboard seems to be a good application for
illustrating periodic failure of an application to start under Jaguar
(6C115). <http://www.pepsan.com/perfboard/>.

The general scenario is to simply start it up, switch to another application
while Perfboard is starting, quit Perfboard , then immediately try to start
it again but do not switch to another application while waiting. It will not
finish starting up and the dock menu will show "Application not responding"
and a "Force Quit" item. I've noticed the scenario is more likely to occur
immediately after waking a machine up. Having Perfboard in the Dock (i.e.
Drag it there when it is not running) seems to make this failure scenario
more likely to occur. However, it still only occurs some of the time (less
than 20% of the time?).

No message appear on the Console. I'll file a bug report since we can make
this happen fairly often.

Still open to suggestions for causes or workarounds.

Ron
