Re: why is JFileChooser so non-Mac-like?



Of course I use JFileChooser's only when I have to.

In my particular case I wanted to integrate some additional controls in the
file dialog, such as the type of file to be opened/created. AFAIK this can
not be done with an AWT FileDialog.
