JAAS on OSX?

Does a Java Authentication and Authorization Service implementation exist on OSX, or do I have to wait until 1.4?
(Optional module in 1.3)

I'm particularly interested in accessing the user keychain from Java through JAAS, which seems like an ideal candidate?
