OpenJNLP 0.4 does not provide any code signing features, and does not set up
a Security Manager. It's class loader prevents using native methods (in classes
loaded by the class loader), it does not have the MRJToolkit handlers set up to
work as a Web Browser helper app, and it doesn't implement all the JNLP file
keywords.

Due to time constraints I sort of let OpenJNLP on Java 1.1 (MRJ 2.2) wither on the vine. I certainly have always intended to provide a complete (as much as possible) JNLP client on Java 1.1. But since there have been a lack of 1.1-friendly JNLP apps and a lot of unfinished features for Java 2 the 1.1 version has been neglected.

I would still like to see the 1.1 version brought up to speed, so if I'm prodded hard enough it could happen. Or if anyone has useful additions they'd like to contribute I'd gladly look at including them.
