Aliasing a JTextComponent?

Has anyone every successfully created an aliased JTextComponent that renders the Highlighter and Caret correctly? I've managed to get the text component to render the text aliased but the Highlighter and Caret do not line up with the text. I'm trying to do this with the property AntiAliasedTextOn = true.

Any ideas?
