Re: Eclipse launching problems



I checked the .log file inside of the workspaces directory and saw that
there was a exception from the SAX processor. First thing that came to
mind was a classpath problem since I have some xml jars in my
~/Library/Java/Extensions/ directory. Sure enough as soon as removed the
XML jars from that location Eclipse started up and ran just fine.

Keep in mind that although the workspaces dir is 'empty' it's not. If
you open up the console navigate to the dir and do ls -al you will see
hidden directories starting with a . so don't be fooled thinking it's
empty.
