RE: JAI on MacOS X?

Hi Kristian,

thanks for your response! I already have the jai_core.jar and jai_codec.jar in my /Library/Java/Extensions but I'm having big trouble as soon as it comes to loading images (i.e. jpg), and java_tutor uses a lot of jpgs, that's why I mentioned it here. I always get a java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance
Walter

Simply grab jai_core.jar and jai_codec.jar from one of the JAI classpath
installers and add them to your classpath. I found that 99% of the JAI
stuff that we use works fine under MacOS X. The problems with the
remaining 1% are caused by some ugly bugs deep down in Apple's Java2D
implementation (allegedly fixed in 1.4.1.. when... if...).
