Mickey,

I think you are doing a service for the Mac Java community by preparing demonstrations of bugs in MRJ, and for the sake of that community, I encourage you to continue to do so. If you file a bug against JDK 1.4.1, perhaps it will serve as a reminder to Apple that the bug still exists (or has crept back in) and still needs to be fixed. Of course, Apple is no different than the rest of us in that they have limitted resources. Your limitted resources means that re-filing a bug report is burdensome. Apple's limitted resources means that they haven't necessarily "not bothered" to look at a bug; a little reminder may help get things done. It certainly should not do any harm.
