RE: How much are we to report about bugs in Java 1.4.1 pre-release?

Remaining somewhat OT to discussing pre-'1.4.1 pre-release' releases, one of my favorites is AWT ScrollPane scroll bars as needed.
I used to have almost a standing bug report every release that you got a horizontal one when it was in fact not needed. Then this got fixed. Then it came back except you don't get a normal horizontal scrollbar but the outline of one thats absent the thumb control, or whatever it's called, that the old QuickDraw anyhow. It's that way at Jaguar and I believe was at 10.1.5. Guess it's not going to snap back to fixed and I should file again.
