WOT: list digest exploding

I've got another off-topic question. Or perhaps it is a meta-java-dev
question. I get java-dev in digest format, because I like to have my inbox
with few messages for when I have to read it on my cell phone. But I also
like to be able to search the back messages, so I have microsoft entourage
"explode" the digest back into its constituent messages.

This explode functionality is the only reason I use microsoft entourage.
I'd much rather use applemail, since the spamfiltering is better (and better
integration with iCal and address book, syncing with my PDA, yadda).

Has anyone written a plugin or figured out how to get apple mail to explode
these things?
