Buffered Image and JOGL textures

Subject: Buffered Image and JOGL textures

Which BufferedImage pixel formats correspond to the native OpenGL formats supported by video cards on OSX? Today I was led to believe that the OpenGL label for it was GL_UNSIGNED_SHORT_8_8_REV_APPLE and GL_UNSIGNED_INT_8_8_8_8_REV. Are these right?
