if you download the stupidly-named "salma-hayek" library from my home
page, you'll find a make(1) file that can build for Linux, Mac OS, and MS
Windows.



For another example which runs on a large range of platforms see the Swarm source code from www.swarm.org.


In this package elisp code is used to generate the jni library code to interface Swarm which is itself written in Objective-C.
