Call me dense (not Shirley) but I don't see an Apple extension that lets an application specify a preview image for a non-text document. I see that the Finder recognizes a preview image resource from a Classic document but the FileManager extensions have no "setPreviewImage()" function. I did some searching on the developer web site but maybe I just couldn't come up with the right phrase.
