Re: Screen Saver Question

Well, this is what I am fiddling with. My problem at present is that it totally freezes the machine when the saver exits.

Here is my code. Kindly note that it is, ahh, not up to a standard that I would normally wish to be associated with <g>.  Note also that there are absolute pathnames in it. This is because I am new to apple and have not gotten packages sorted out yet.

I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction on how to load a vm within a screen saver.  I don't need graphics, so if I can just do calcs and cuntion calls this is perfect for me.

Thanks you for any help,

Has anyone had any luck running a jvm inside a screensaver?

I have found that I can get one up ok, even a 1.5 JVM, and call
methods on java classes, but the moment anything loads up an awt
class (even java.awt.Dimension), the whole thing bombs - the saver
exits altogether.

I was hoping to do the apple natives for http://
screensavers.dev.java.net/ , but it isn't looking hopeful.
