Re: User install of Tomcat?

(My Mistake, send it only to Rolf Howarth so her is one for the archive)

Den 28. jul. 2005 kl. 15.10 skrev Rolf Howarth:

I'm written a little webapp I want to deploy via Tomcat. Ideally I want to be able to point users to somewhere where they can download a .dmg file that will install Tomcat and a startup item to launch it automatically. I can then give them a .war file and tell them where to stick it (in a polite way :-) and that should be all there is to it.

Take a look at ServerLogistics they have a Tomcat clickable .dmg installation of Tomcat 4.1 AND a Preference Pane so that it can be started automatic at launch or when you hit start
I use it a lot , and it works quite well
