Hi,
I'm using eclipse to develop a cross-platform java application, and
recently the following message has been appearing in the console
after
using eclipse to launch the program:
2005-06-23 14:56:59.584 java[7355] CFLog (0): CFMessagePort:
bootstrap_register(): failed 1103 (0x44f), port = 0xd603, name =
'java.ServiceProvider'
See /usr/include/servers/bootstrap_defs.h for the error codes.
2005-06-23 14:56:59.584 java[7355] CFLog (99):
CFMessagePortCreateLocal(): failed to name Mach port
(java.ServiceProvider)
I took the message's advice and looked up the error code, which is
"BOOTSTRAP_SERVICE_ACTIVE" (I think).
Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? In some
instances, my application exits in a very sloppy manner, seemingly
terminated by the operating system (eclipse doesn't even catch any
exceptions). Could this be the cause, and if so, is there any
remedy?
Thanks,
Mac Cowell
