I visited the Java USB API (JSR 80) page recently and noticed that
they've started the final release stage as of June 8. More intriguing
was the inclusion of Apple Computer, Inc. on the Expert Group list.
Does anyone on the list have any insight into this API and when/if we
might see this in an OS X
JRE?
Lack of standardized peripheral IO support in Java has always been a
weak link, IMHO.
