maybe they're thinking of the fact that the Aqua LAF uses JNI to call
native code to do a lot of the actual drawing, which is why -- in places
-- it's such a convincing imitation of the real thing. and then they ruin
it by using the wrong colors and the wrong fonts and...
Sun have moved to a similar scheme (of using native code, not of using the
wrong UIResources or ignoring 'feel' and concentrating on 'look') for the
GTK+ LAF in Java 6.
