Fwd: Can't run java preferences utility under java 5

Removing deployment.properties doesn't seem to work (the newly generated
file is identical to the old one and I still get the same exception). The
stack (which follows) reveals some kind of font error. I really don't want
to do a clean install (unless someone can give me advice on how to port my
stuff over).

Before you reinstall or do anything, save a copy of ~/Library/Caches/
Java/deployment.properties, and check Console.app for a stack trace.
Then file a bug. :-)

Then, get rid of deployment.properties and try again.
