I've been developing some code using the JPOX JDO engine and Apache
Derby.
While running some tests lately I keep seeing this message appear:
[junit] 2005-05-26 17:31:55.551 java[2205] CFLog (0):
CFMessagePort: bootstrap_register(): failed 1103 (0x44f), port =
0x20e03, name = 'java.ServiceProvider'
[junit] See /usr/include/servers/bootstrap_defs.h for the error
codes.
I have no idea what it could mean, and I've got little or no idea
where to start looking in the code since it looks like it's happening
somewhere in either the JPOX or Derby code.
I'm running Tiger on a high-spec G5, with the extra j2se5 update
installed, but keeping 1.4 as the default JVM.
It doesn't seem to be fatal, but it's certainly got me puzzled.
I tried reading through the code at /usr/include/servers/ but it
seemed to be pretty low-level kernel oriented stuff which gave me a
headache just looking at it, and I'm certainly not experienced enough
with that stuff to know what I'm talking about.
Anyone got a clue?
