Hello,
The "J2SE 5.0 Release 3 Release Notes" (1.5.0_05) states at the end of the
document, that the Java heap size specified in a JNLP file for an JAVA
WebsStart Application is ignored by the updated JAVA WebStart application.
On our systems that looks like:
As soon, as the attributes
initial-heap-size="100m" or max-heap-size="512m"
are added to the <j2se> tag the application terminates with the
errormessage:
"Exception in thread "javawsApplicationMain"
java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no macjavaws in java.library.path"
(Strangely, that also happens after adding the property "sun.java2d.noddraw"
to the JNLP file :-> )
Is there another solution / workaround to specify the HEAP size within the
JNLP file for this Java Release? Our application will not work with the
default memory settings.
