Hi folks,

With Java 1.5 from Apple we're still stuck with the  GSS / MIT Kerberos bugs
addressed in Java 1.5 update 7 (the switch from DES_MAC_MD5 to DES-MAC).

Has anyone hints as to how to work around this on OSX?

You may want to note that Apple is currently in the developer preview stage of a Java Release 5 for 10.4 systems. If you have seed access you should consider downloading and testing with this update.

I second this suggestion. We build Kerberos in an odd way, in that we have modified two of the classes so it can find the configuration files in the standard Mac places. We _should_ have picked up Sun's changes for _07 but I'd appreciate having someone who uses the GSSAPI on a regular basis try it out.
