Might be a version specific bug, might be a quirk of your config.


 locate the preferences file (aoiprefs) in your home directory (~/.aoiprefs), from a terminal. (I can't figure out how to get to it otherwise.)


What's your editor? BBEdit has a open hidden option I think. I think most java file choosers show hidden, . prefixed file names, by default. 'open' from Terminal should work fine to probably pop it up in TextEdit, or whatever your default editor is is. Just verified TextEdit for me. I find that handy to navigate to harder to reach folders sometimes as well. Like 'open /tmp'
