(I can't figure out how to get to it otherwise.) What's your editor? BBEdit has a open hidden option I think. I think most java file choosers show hidden, . prefixed file names, by default. 'open' from Terminal should work fine to probably pop it up in TextEdit, or whatever your default editor is is. Just verified TextEdit for me.
