The same exact jar with the same exact jnlp works fine with JAVA 1.5.

Nice little dialog. I don't think it's anything to do with 1.6.
Googling on the exception turned up the same exception where I think
it was being blamed on 1.4 and 1.5. So I would probably guess not
actually release related but I didn't quickly pick up from the search
hits on which property and what it should be.
One Googled OS X result I was in on was the following, this reply
probably more informative and probably more pertinent than what I had
to say (And KeychainStore related)...
