Java Help

Hi all,

I am looking into solutions for implementing a help system in our Swing application. The help content would be stored within the application jar.

The obvious solution is JavaHelp. Looking into the examples and the documentation, I come up with a problem: the GUI. The content management system fits our needs, but we definitely need to change the GUI to fit the look and feel of our app, icons, sizes, fonts etc... I have not read the starting documentation in detail, but there does not seem to be any mentioning of modifying the GUI in that sense.

I have seen some places however where the help approach seems the same like in JavaHelp, but the GUI is modified to the app (JFormDesigner comes to mind), so I am thinking that it should be possible.

Any advice or thoughts?

Thanks,
Flor
