It's pretty unlikely. I know of no technology for doing such a thing, and
if there were such technology, it'd be a pretty hot product.
I also googled for Mac OS X drivers for a Semitech device (keywords:
semitech usb mac os x), and only found one halfway decent hit:
<http://forums.macosxhints.com/archive/index.php/t-40224.html>
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem fruitful, because the only suggested remedy
is to "go into the HID section of your Device Manager" and make some
changes, but Device Manager isn't a Mac OS X application, so I don't know
how to turn that suggestion into something you can actually do.
You may be better at googling than I am, though, so it may be worth your
time to search more.
Other than that, I think your best option is to buy a device that comes
with drivers for Mac OS X.
