javaws on command line

Good morning!

I notice that running our app from the command line using 'javaws' bypasses the setting in the Java Preferences app. Mine is set to prefer Java 1.5 but when I run javaws from the command line our app still runs in a 1.4.2 VM.

javaws http://path/to/our.jnlp

So how can we work around that?
