Hi there,

I have a new MacBook Pro with German Keyboard. Now the question,
where are the Pipe Sign (" I")??

If you run out, just make a copy of this template to create some more :)

(Don't laugh, but I really have had to do something quite similar in the past on a Windows machine!)

Oh yes, when your X windows window manager crashes, the only way to get it started again is to find the characters you need somewhere on the screen and laboriously copy and paste them into an xterm. I used to keep a window with the appropriate command line always visible for when this happened.
