Has anyone else seen this, and developed a work-around? The best
I've been able to come up with is to initially place a disabled
menu item saying to deselect and then reselect the menu to get
the valid list of items.
No doubt those with more know-how will give better advice, but our best
workaround is to rebuild the menu concerned whenever it may have
changed, regardless of whether it is being shown or not. (a single
instance of menu per application instance.) For our application this
concerns the file menu and the list of recently opened files, so it is
relatively easy to establish where in the application changes might
occur. YMMV!
