Check the readme... I doubt anyone will bother to run this on
PowerPC other than for a good laugh.

Please do install it! This release is quite usable on PowerPC. It's
probably premature to be filing performance bugs, but for everyday
use it is in very good shape.
Also, please note that in DP2 in particular, all the bits live inside
a single folder:
/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.6.0
In spite of the somewhat dire warnings not to install DP2 on Systems
with critical data, DP2 really is unlikely to slop over and mess up
your experience running your production version of java. This is
likely to change as we continue working on more developing Java SE 6,
but for now, it's pretty damn safe to experiment with.
