Has *everybody* jumped on the early release of the Intel Mac's? I've always thought it was a good idea to wait for 2nd/3rd generations of those kinds of changes. Any early adopters of the 17" macbook pro??

I am an early adopter of a 17" mbp, and I am loving it. Screamingly fast, and both IDEA and my custom code well. The only big problem I am facing now is with WebLogic. That BEA decided to put incompatible versions of Sun distributed classes in the classpath is not really Apple's fault, but it is making me tear my hair out, and say unkind things.

Ah well, it will run under parallels. I note that ActiveMQ is open source, works on the mac under java 5 update 4 like a dream, so I hope BEA is paying very close attention to the competition.
