Not true.
I'm using JProfiler version 4.2.1 on my MacBookPro and it works better than ever.

I have had very good results with JProfiler from e-j technologies. It has both sampled and instrumented options, and does very good time and memory profiling. The heap walker is also well designed, and has saved me effort.

Note however that JProfiler will not work on an Intel Mac still, due to native libraries which start to complain about the x86 architecture. They haven't solved that yet last time I checked.
